UPDATE - Charred remains of victims found in Hadley Mall Fire

The remains of two victims of the suspicious Hadley Mall inferno have been found, with a third still missing and hoped to have escaped the deadly inferno.

BREAKING NEWS

Jerry, Tina, Peaches, and Alexandra Yeskie, who was not home at the time, lived in a second floor apartment. Yeskie is now homeless. The remains of two of the occupants were charred beyond recognition, and it is hoped that the third has escaped. Yeskie did not have insurance and lost everything in the blaze.

Experienced firefighters can tell a lot just from the smoke, smell, and fury of a fire - and this one is mighty suspicious.

Firefighters have told the owner that the remains of two cats, which they could not identify, were found on the property, according to displaced tenant Alexandra Yeskie.

Yeskie, who is 38, lived with her three cats in a second-floor studio unit, one of two residential apartments in the plaza.

Meanwhile, officials have asked anyone who left their dirty underwear in the laundry the night of the fire to call the Hadley Fire Department at 584-0874.

Focusing on the underwear could help investigators pinpoint the time of the incident and the precise location of the fire’s origin.

According to Jennifer Mieth, a spokeswoman for the fire marshal’s office,  the Quick Lighting, Long Burning Charcoals warehoused at Casablanca Halal Market had little, if anything, to do with the quick lighting inferno that burnt all night and claimed the two victims.

Casablanca Halal Market is adjacent to a laundromat where a pair of hot pants is suspected of starting the blaze.

Casablanca Halal Market lost over $200,000 in merchandise and equipment.
