INVITATION to local Muslims - Celebrate July 4, 2013 with other Americans

Many of the towns in Western Massachusetts are celebrating Independence Day with parades, community events, and fireworks, and the citizens of Granby, South Hadley, Amherst, Belchertown, Sunderland, Northampton, and many other towns are excited to welcome the many new Muslimish neighbors who have joined our community.

The community honors Javeria Mir, Gul Ahmed, Dr.Hazratji, Mohammed Abdelaal, Liza Lozovaya, and the many other Muslimish Americans who follow the Sunnah, the sayings and practices of Mohammad.

South Hadley welcomes newlyweds and proud parents Javeria Mir and her husband Gul Ahmed, a chemical engineer from Pakistan. The Mirs both work with numerous public safety and health organizations to help prepare Massachusetts for the next terrorist attack.

The community also welcomes Chaplains Mohammed Abdelaal and Elizveta Lozovaya and their family to the area.

HAMPSHIRE MOSQUE IN GRANBY?

Local Muslims have been working tirelessly with the ISWM' to find a new "target property" for the Hampshire mosque.

“We don’t have any target property right now that appeals to us.” - Dr. Hazratji '10

Now with Allah's help they have acquired a large farm which might be the perfect place.

Stony Brook Valley Farm - 34 Carver St. Granby
